Vero Lago Reviews

vero lago reviewsWe recently purchased a home in the Vero Lago development of Vero Beach. As much as I want to leave a good review, I can't.  Our home buying experience was nothing short of a nightmare.  Since our purchase in 2013 we have had a flooded bedroom due to a poorly installed sprinkler head, a missing door to our bathroom, crooked light switches, scratched laminate flooring and more.  We fell in love with Vero Beach while looking for our
new home and the quality of the homes here in Vero Lago seemed good.  It wasn't until after our closing that we realized how many idden mistakes there really were.  The cable jack you see to the left was loose so we had them come and fix it, this is the result!  We contacted the person responsible Pete Osterman only to be brushed off time and again

The photo to the right shows the inside of our kitchen cupboard, right at eye level.  If you are wondering why we didn't mention this at our walkthrough, well we were not llowed the time to look around.  We request we have an hour alone to really look around but they wouldn't allow it. Construction manager Roy Beam rushed us through as if he had something to hide.

bad review
Do any of these picture show quality craftsmanship or home builder experience?  I don't think so.  Our home was slapped together as if it were a pice of Ikea furniture. Which by the way is exactly what it looks and feels like.  I understand home building isn't easy but when we shell out $250k for   a new home we expect NEW, wouldn't you?
